Two offset, palm sized boxed are stacked on the left-hand side of the photo. To the right, up against the boxes is a biofreeze bottle. To the right of the biofreeze bottle, there is a prossage bottle against it. To the right of that, at an angleso the corner faces forward, is another identical shiny box. The boxes are silver with multiple colors shining off of them. The background is black and the bottom has a white swirl-pattern doily that everything is sitting upon. A business card for mind muscle massage is leaning against the box on the right. It has the mind muscle massage logo, website, address and phone number presented all in white on a black background. The entire image is accented with a spotlight to highlight the biofreeze, prossage, and bring out the colorful shine of the boxes.

Biofreeze Contrast Therapy $5

A combination of hot towels, Prossage and Biofreeze on one site-specific area.

The moist heat helps dilate blood vessels, increase circulation,  relax soft tissues, and relieve pain.

The Prossage relaxes thermoreceptors and increases the flow of oxygen to promote a myofascial release for a deeper massage.

Biofreeze makes the skin feel cool. The menthol helps with vasodilation, increasing blood flow to the area. It is commonly used in  pain relief and recovery.

Whether you are getting more of a deep tissue massage or more of a relaxation Swedish massage, Biofreeze Contrast Therapy can help give the massage a therapeutic boost to address your main focus area.

A simple photo with an all black background. A Hyperice Hypervolt Go 2 is displayed. The box it came in is vertical and standing up. The box shows the product name and hyperice logo as well as a photo of the hypervoly go 2 massage gun itself. Placed to the right of the box is a hyperice logo sticker. Lying in front of the box is the hypervolt go 2 itself. The flathead attachment is installed and facing to the left while the handle is on the right. A spotlight shines in the middle of the hypervolt go 2 for a dramatic look.

Percussion Therapy $0

A Hyperice Hypervolt "Massage Gun", guided by your therapist, uses vibration and pressure to relax muscles and reduce tension.

The use of percussion (Hypervolt massage gun) can help to gently release tension in the muscles.  Percussion therapy increases blood flow and lymphatic circulation which allows more oxygen and nutrients to reach the muscles.  It also helps stimulate atrophied or inactive muscles.

This add-on is especially helpful in areas that may be more sensitive to pressure.  It can be applied in a Swedish relaxation massage.

It is also helpful to use it as a warm-up to an area before applying deep pressure.  Generally, the use of a hypervolt will make the massage session more efficient. It relaxes the superficial layers very quickly, reducing the time it takes to comfortably get to that deep tissue pressure.

An open, vertically oriented box displays aromatherapy. Six aromatherapy bottles nested in foam. Top left to bottom right they are labeled: Eucalyptus, chamomile, frankincense, orange, sandalwood, lavender. At the bottom of the picture is a shiny silver lid supporting the aromatherapy display. Multiple colors shine from the lid. There is a potlight on the lid that reflects some of the colors and silver shine onto the aromatherapy bottles. A solid black background completes the picture for a nice contrast.

Aromatherapy $5

A classic.  Aromatherapy is commonly used for its natural benefits.

Benefits are increased through both inhalation, and absorption through the skin.

Availability of scents is subject to change.

Aromatherapy is believed to have a range of therapeutic effects including: reducing anxiety, increasing relaxation, improving sleep, increasing circulation, boosting mood, reducing seasonal allergy symptoms, increasing energy,  decreasing headaches, relieving joint and muscle pain, reducing inflammation, improving digestion, and increasing immune system functions.

Aromatherapy can also encourage a more spa-like ambiance during your massage.  Besides it's therapeutic effects, the use of aromatherapy during a massage helps clients to feel pampered.  It is highly encouraged to consider this when purchasing a gift certificate for others.

A black case with the words "massage hot stones, relaxing your body" in white. A picture of a stick figure lying down with hot stones on it's back also on the case. Black hot stones for massaging are placed on the case surrounding the white image.

Hot Stone

$20

Half price for package holders!

Warm stones are incorporated into your massage session.  The heat dilates the blood vessels and loosens the muscles, allowing for a deeper massage without it feeling like 'deep tissue.'  For many people, hot stones are more relaxing than a customized massage.  This is particularly good for those who are getting a massage for mental health reasons. For example, to reduce symptoms of anxiety or depression. The warm stones amplify many of the benefits of a massage.   This enhancement is well-paired with aromatherapy and the combination makes for an excellent experience for someone who is receiving a gift card.

Several cupping cups are organized for display. Cups also vary by size. black background. Cups vary in color: black, clear, red, red transparent, black transparent.

There is a description of the above image and summary of each of the mechanisms of action mentioned.

This article was published online in 2018. It is a good place to start if you are wondering about the 'science' of cupping.

Continuing education classes for Licensed Massage Therapists state cupping to be effective and low risk for the majority of clients.  They state cupping is similar to myofascial release and acupuncture.

No hot stone, CBD, contrast therapy or aromatherapy for prenatal massages.

If you have allergies, please inform your therapist prior to treatment and check the ingredients.
