Which type of massage do I book?

The service menu is simplified into four types of massage to make it easy when booking. 






Why do I need to enter my credit card information?

In order to hold your appointment slot, we, like most massage clinics and spas, require a client to create a profile and have a valid credit card on file.  This is to ensure that the client is a real human (not a bot) and to prevent no-shows and last-minute cancellations.  

Do you accept HSA/FSA cards?

"When it comes to HSA cards, these work a little bit differently than a standard post-paid credit card you would get from your bank. They’re often only designated for use with specific kinds of businesses to make sure the patient is redeeming these funds for eligible services.

HSA and FSA cards require that your business have a special classification, called an MCC, set so that the card companies know that your products and services are directly related to a patient’s medical needs. When you sign up for a Jane Payments account, we automatically set you up with MCC 8099, which is for Medical Services and Health Practitioners - this means you’re already set to accept HSA and FSA cards!

With that in mind, we can’t guarantee that a HSA card will be approved. Just like any other type of credit card, your client’s card issuer may not approve a transaction for any number of reasons: transaction size, insufficient funds, over preset limits, or the HSA card might not even be valid at a clinic with your MCC code!

Although we always want to see an approved transaction, sometimes cards will decline, even if they’ve been previously used in Jane. Jane does try to give you as much information as possible when a card is declined, but we don’t always receive the reason from your patient’s card issuing bank.

If your patient has confirmed that there’s nothing preventing their card from being processed, it would be best to have them call their card issuer for more information. They’ll be able to provide more specific context about why the card was declined, which our team just isn’t able to access."

Which enhancement should I choose?

No enhancements are available for prenatal massages.  

All available enhancements are chosen for their therapeutic benefits and have their place in customized therapeutic massage.  More details on the enhancements page.

What is the recommended gratuity?

Gratuity is customary and always appreciated, thank you!!  These suggested amounts are based off of the value of the service and current trends in the industry.  

Gratuity helps to keep the base cost of massage lower for everyone.

120 $50-60

If you cannot afford the suggested amounts, be assured you will not be treated any differently.  Any gratuity amount is appreciated.

Are there discounts?

Yes!  

Hot towels, deep tissue techniques, and the hypervolt enhancement are ALWAYS FREE!!

No membership required, no sign up fees and no complicated contracts.

Do I need to have a membership?

Nope!  There are packages for sale to help reduce the costs of your massages, but they require no on-going commitment.  

What are the benefits of massage therapy?

What is the cancellation policy?

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for daytime discount appointments. (M-F 9-5)

There is a 48-hour cancellation policy for premium booking appointments. (Nights, weekends, holidays).  

No-shows and cancellations within 24-hours, or 48-hours respectively,  are charged 100%.  

This is enforced to ensure that opportunities are not taken away from other clients.   The booking software sends automatic email and/or text message reminders of appointments, make sure you have them turned on and your preferences selected!

Are there items for sale?

Yes!  Items are always changing; the website will be updated frequently.

Existing clients can send an email with their contact info to request an item they see on the Gift Shop page be purchased through their account.  Once an item is purchased we will set up a pick up day and time.  Items may also be purchased in-person.

I need to get in soon, but can't I find an opening. What can I do?

While there are many appointment slots, demand is high especially for certain days and times!

Make sure to create your client profile for your booking convenience.

Check all types of appointments you are interested in.  Perhaps a 90 minute is not available on our preferred day, but a 60 minute is.  Only one appointment type is viewable at a time in your online scheduling.

Outside of the typical business hours, "premium booking' appointments may be available.  Be sure to click on those appointment types in our online booking software if you would like to explore those options.

Once you have created a client profile through our booking software, you may be as specific with your waitlist settings as you want!  

Choose dates and times that work for you, the more options you select the more likely your chances are of getting in.

Edit it as often as you'd like and at your own convenience online.

What are office hours?

By appointment only.

Mon-Fri between 7am and 4pm are typical business hours BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Additional Premium Booking hours may be available outside of those hours and on holidays BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. 

No walk-ins at this time.

What is Premium Booking?


Outside of the typical business hours, "premium booking' appointments may be available.  Be sure to click on those appointment types in our online booking software if you would like to explore those options.  

Premium Booking often provides more opportunities for appointments during high-demand times such as nights, holidays, and weekends. 

You can add yourself to our waitlist to be notified of cancellations or added shifts during your preferred times.

Why didn't you answer the phone or call me back immediately?

Most actions can be completed online, reducing the need to play phone tag.  

Right now we have limited staff.... please be patient as it is likely we are with clients and will have to call you back!

What about hot stone massage?

Yes!  Only a $20 add-on to any massage.  Half price for package holders. Please make a note when booking your appointment to ensure stones are ready when you arrive.

Where are you located?

Steven Drive is just off of highway 19 between Sun Prairie/Token Creek and Windsor/Deforest.  Near the intersection of Portage road and Hwy 19.  

 The building is shared with several businesses, primarily KeitelGroup Insurance.

Can I purchase a package, a gift certificate, or a gift from the gift shop online?

Gift cards may be purchased directly online.

Gift shop items can be purchased remotely, but Mind Muscle Massage Therapy will have to ring it up on our end.

To purchase a Gift Shop item remotely:

-Your (the Buyer's) name.

-Specify which Package for yourself,  or gift  shop item you would like to purchase.  {Note: If you have more than one card on file, please identify which to use by stating the TYPE of card (visa, Mastercard, discover), card nickname, and/or the last four digits. DO NOT provide your full card number or other sensitive information in any email.}

-If you purchased a package for yourself, it can now be seen in your profile. These cannot be transferred.

-If you purchased a gift from the gift shop, it will be waiting for you at your next appointment or you can schedule a pick up time/day with Mind Muscle Massage Therapy. Thank You.

Do you take insurance?

Not at this time, however;

Check with your insurance company, as some will reimburse for massage therapy with just a receipt.

Check with your HSA or FSA; these cards are often compatible with our billing software. Not guaranteed.

Submit to your HRA!  Send in your receipts to your Health Reimbursement Account for potential reimbursement!

MMMT is happy to provide receipts to clients but cannot call or submit information on their behalf.

Clients are responsible for the appointment fees regardless of potential third-party reimbursement to the client.

Gift cards and gifts cannot be purchased with these types of cards.

Is my payment information safe?

Absolutely!

Mind Muscle Massage Therapy uses the Jane App booking and billing software.  When you create an account online you will be able to read through their privacy and security statements if you'd like.  Sensitive payment information is stored within their payment processing partner Stripe.  Stripe holds the highest security certification in the industry.  Stripe is used with millions of companies including Google, Amazon, Zoom, Instacart, Shopify, Salesforce, Lyft, and Slack.
